Extract fan flow testing or Ventilation testing is a mandatory requirement of Part F of the Building Regulations. To demonstrate compliance, an extract fan flow testing is required. An extract flow test measures air flow rates of mechanical ventilation systems such as extractor fans and oven hoods to ensure the flow rates meet minimum requirements of Part F.
